 Changing Lives believe that anyone experiencing a challenging time can be given the right support to change their life for the better. The aim is to drive change to support more people in more communities.

Early Help

Where needs are emerging or low level, individual services and universal services may be able to meet these needs, take swift action and prevent those needs escalating. 

Family Lives

Family Lives is a charity providing support regarding all aspects of parenting including coping with family life during COVID- 19. They have a help line you can telephone on: 08088 00222. 

Derby and Derbyshire Emotional Health & Wellbeing

 This service pulls together advice, support and contacts gathered by healthcare professionals, residents, children and young people to help support people of all ages who are feeling stressed anxious or depressed during Covid-19.

 This service provides support for single parents. 

National Autistic Society

 The National Autistic Society have developed a range of resources for parents of a child, or children, with autism.

MindEd for Families

 Mind Ed for Families is a useful resource for parents and professionals. They've got information on topics such as sleep, anxiety, eating disorders, self-harm, and family and relationship issues.

Young Minds

Young Minds is a well trusted charity providing advice and information about a number of mental health issues.

Anna Freud National centre for Children and Families

The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families website is designed to empower young adults to look after their mental health. It has a jargon buster, and tips for self-care.

Mind for better mental health

MIND has information and support for children and young people including information on your feelings and opening up.

Kooth

Kooth offer free online counselling to support mental health and wellbeing, without the need for a referral, in Derby and Derbyshire.

Qwell

 Qwell offer free online counselling to support mental health and wellbeing, without the need for a referral, in Derby and Derbyshire.
