Pleasley Vale is affectionately known as ‘little Matlock’ to local outdoor enthusiasts. Set in the impressive grounds of Pleasley Vale Mill Complex the centre provides the perfect opportunity for groups and individuals to experience the spirit of adventure.

The current outdoor centre has now been operating adventurous activities for 8 years, most of which have been for children from the local communities. As a school we have ran a yearly trip for Year 5 for the past few years during the end of the school year.

The centre offers a range of adventure & team building activities including:

  • Canoeing
  • Kayaking
  • Orienteering
  • Abseiling
  • Climbing
  • Archery
  • KMXing
  • Problem solving
  • Team building

More information about the venue can be obtained here.

If you are in Year 5 and interested in attending then please return your letters back as soon as possible as places are limited. For further information speak to Mr Smith or Mr Backhouse.
